Keith Butler will be our pre-dinner speaker. He is a professional public speaker with over 20 years of experience speaking in front of crowds. He is a professional actor; you may know him from the title role of Kevin in the Chicago-produced film Kevin’s Room. He is also a certified diversity trainer in which he has presented to groups and organizations throughout the US. Keith takes his role discussing the biases and issues around race and race relations in our country and especially within our LGBTQ+ community. One of his favorite quotes is “we can all see each other if we are willing to talk to each other.” Keith performed in THE KRAMER PROJECT at Center on Halsted, directed by David Zak, in 2023.
Doors will be unlocked at 5:30, and pre-dinner program starts at 6:10. Buffet dinner is served at 6:30. Entertainment starts at 7:00.
The event is $25 for members, and $30 for guests.
Please register by November 10 so we can give Ann Sather an accurate guest count to avoid food wastage.
If you will be using a mobility device such as a walker or wheelchair, kindly indicate it on your reservation form, and we will ensure a seat near the stage is reserved for you. In case you have difficulty hearing or seeing, we can accommodate you by providing a seat in close proximity to the stage or near the amp located at the rear of the room.
