Gay Men's Book Group at Center on Halsted: [In Memoriam]

Gay Men's Book Group-Chicago is a free, open monthly book discussion group welcoming male-identified individuals of all ages who are interested in reading and discussing gay-related literature, both fiction and non-fiction. Books to be discussed are selected by the group and posted on their Facebook page and via their newsletter email.

October's selection is In Memoriam by Alice Winn. In 1914, war feels far away to Henry Gaunt and Sidney Ellwood. They're too young to enlist, and anyway, Gaunt is fighting his own private battle — an all‑consuming infatuation with the dreamy, poetic Ellwood — not having a clue that his best friend is in love with him, always has been.
