Argyle Lunar New Year Celebration

To welcome the Year of the Snake, we'll attend the Argyle Lunar New Year Celebration. The parade steps off at 1:00 p.m. at the corner of Argyle and Sheridan. Following the parade, we will visit a local eatery for lunch.

Lunar New Year is a time for fresh starts—it’s about sweeping away the bad luck of the previous year to make room for the good luck of the new year. Since 1981, Uptown has celebrated the start of the new Lunar Year with celebrations, programming, food, and art.
