CHERUB and PARK LIFE, two films recently featured at BFI!

FILM SCREENING at Facets! Join us for the Chicago premieres of CHERUB and PARK LIFE at Facets on April 29. CHERUB is a gentle character study has almost no dialogue. Rather, writer/director Devin Shears observes what to some is an ordinary life. But that life changes when Harvey makes a discovery at his local porn store. PARK LIFE is a sexy new short. PARK LIFE, a new gay short! Noah and Medhi didn’t expect to make any real connections when they encountered one another cruising in a park. But what starts as a meaningless and transactional hookup, soon blossoms into something unexpectedly romantic and meaningful as they wander the quiet streets of London one remarkable night.

Facets is just west of DePaul at 1517 Fullerton, and can be reached via the subway stops at Fullerton, and the Ashland and Fullerton busses. Street parking is generally available. Cocktails as well as traditional theater snacks are available both before the film and at the talk back.

The films selected are not streaming, although films we have premiered in the past, like SEBASTIAN. QUEEN TUT, HORSEPLAY, EISMAYER and others are now available to stream.
