[Life Out Loud] at Nichols Park

About Face Theatre presents a free, outdoor performance of Life Out Loud: Voices of Pride as part of Queering The Parks, a series of free summer events made possible by the City of Chicago and the Chicago Park District.

Three friends journey through a gallery filled with stories from LGBTQ+ folks from the past and present. Along the way, they discover some surprising history, the power of authentic friendship, and some new ideas for expanding our understanding of gender and sexuality. This charming, funny, and interactive play uses monologues and improv to explore gender expansive and inclusive vocabulary as well as healthy coping mechanisms and boundary setting.

Enjoy this unique and transformative theater experience in an open-air setting.

The performance will be held on the brick in front of the Nichols Park Fieldhouse, which is at the northeast corner of the park. You can't miss it!
