CHICAGO PRIMETIMERS AT THE MOVIES: IOWA VET: DOGS, CATS, CORN, & MURDER
Join us Monday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. at Facets, 1517 W. Fullerton Ave., for a special screening of IOWA VET: DOGS, CATS, CORN, & MURDER.
This fascinating and often surprising documentary follows a rural Iowa veterinarian whose life takes him from the family farm to building an animal hospital in the big city—and through some very unexpected chapters involving family, loss, murder, Mormon history, and finding love later in life.
And there’s an extra reason for PrimeTimers to be there: both the veterinarian featured in the film and the film’s director are new members of Chicago PrimeTimers! Come welcome them to the group, say hello before the screening, enjoy the film, and then stay afterward for a special talkback with the filmmakers.
